Colombo No 7 Gin was invented out of necessity when spice trade routes were closed during the second world war. Distilled to a unique recipe using seven spices and botanicals, Colombo No 7 is a distinctly Sri Lankan take on a London Dry Gin. Colombo No. 07 is made to the original 70-year old recipe, distilled in small batches in traditional copper pot stills.
Best served with a good quality tonic, plenty of ice, and a generous curry leaves garnish.perfectly and the gin reveals a multitude of nuances; aromatic and with a fresh finish thanks to the citrus.
